Summary: "Fantasic headphones, worth every penny."
Pros:
- Size. These headphones are extremely tiny. Like not much bigger than the cord tiny. Much smaller than every other headphone on the shelf tiny. The added bonus here is that they don't weight much at all, and that just makes wearing them all the more comfortable.
- Fit. I've tried dozens of in-ear headphones, and Klipsch really has the ear bud figured out. They are very easy to insert, stay as long as you want them in, and are easily wearable all day long without *any* discomfort. The S4i's were just as good on fit as they use exactly the same buds. The Etymotic's I tried were uncomfortable after about an hour, and it hurt to remove them. I've had *zero* discomfort wearing these all day long.
- Sound. Everyone always asks how they sound, and let me just say these are the best sounding headphones I've ever owned. Period. They are crystal clear. Spectacular even. The base is punchy yet not overdone, the highs are perfect, and the staging is amazing. I can't say enough how awesome these are. I find myself turning the volume *down* because of the clarity. It really is that good.
Cons:
- Price of course. These things are *expensive*, and most likely more expensive than your current top-of-the-line smartphone. The old saying goes "you get what you pay for", and that's every bit true for these headphones.
- There is quite a bit of wind noise that comes through no matter which gel buds you're using. Even holding the cord in your hand doesn't really cut it down that much. If you're going to be outdoors in the wind a lot, I'd recommend an over-the-ear set rather than the in-the-ear style.
Miscellaneous:
- I would rather have one ear bud cord be longer than the other to wear around the neck instead of straight down my front. It would be very handy when removing the headphones two dozen times througought the day so I didn't have to "do something" with them after I took them out. It's just a minor inconvenience though.
- The included hard case with magnetic flap is a nice touch. It's just large enough for the headphones coiled up, but not too big to throw into a zipper pocket in my backpack.
Overall:
I cringed at the price when I first saw it, then decided I would go with the cheaper S4i. The S4i's sound great, don't get me wrong, but these are simply in a class all their own. I'm glad I spent the money on the X10i headset.

Summary: "Truly the best of the best earbuds"
So I bought these sometime last week through eBay, and got them today. And wow am I blown away.
Well first off, let me state that I am a huge music fan. My iTunes has over 7,000 songs and it is constantly increasing. I am also an audiophile (meaning I care very much about the sound and bass of my hedphones/earbuds), and have been going through many different earbuds in my lifetime, trying to find the best ones with the best sound and best bass. So far, these are easily my favourite so far. Here's why.
The package they come in is very nice. Feels very luxurious and will put a smile on your face. Guaranteed. It comes with multiple pairs of white and soft earbud tips, a Volume Control (on the Klipsch Image X10i), a clip for the cable, a small black case with a magnet on the lid (so it closes by itself and stays closed), a cleaner for your earbuds and tips, and a bigger tip for inserting the earbuds on some big speakers or something.
Now then, when I put them on and started playing songs from my iPod, I was surprised at the clarity of these earbuds. I haven't EVER heard clarity this good and accurate from earbuds. I was blown away.
The bass is very important to me and lots of other people, so it's a good thing that the bass is excellent on these earbuds. The bass is bangin' so you can hear it and feel it on the earbuds, but it's not too overpowering which means it won't drown out the rest of the music. The bass is just simply excellent.
The earbuds themselves are very small and light. As a result, they will be practically invisible when you put them in your ears, and because they're so light, you will forget that they're even in your ears. In my opinion, that is how earbuds are supposed to be.
The cable is also superb. It's black and very thin, which means it will give you less troubles and be less annoying if you're on the go with these earbuds. Not to mention that it's not too long and not too short; it's just perfect.
Now, the Volume Control I have is also good. It's helpful when you want to turn up or turn down a song without having to take your iPod out from your pocket. But I've only tempered with the volume control so far, and I know this feature has other capabilities which I haven't explored yet, so I will leave that to you.
All in all, these earbuds were pricy, but definitely worth it. You won't get better sound, bass reflex system, features and accessories than this on any other earbuds. Highly recommended to everyone.

Summary: "Best sounding headphones ever"
I am an audiofile & also have Bang & Olufson earset 3 headphones . I also have a $1000 headphones at home with a tube amplifier and am shocked that these perform on par with those hooked up to my Iphone and even my shuffle. The only downside is that they isolate sound so well that they are not that safe for driving and even after you mute them you can't hear people talk or horns honking. But for me my search is over for sonic perfection in a portable headphone. The stop start buttons work flawlessly as well as the fast forward & reverse.

Summary: "Awesome"
Here it is in a nutshell... expensive, but worth it.
These are the truly the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn and I can pleasantly leave them in for hours.
Airplane- I have a pair of BOSE QuietComfort 2 headphones that I've had for years now and would use on the plane. The Klipsch earbuds do not cancel out as much white noise as the Bose headphones. But, I would say they cancel out 50% - 65% of the white noise AND I can wear them for the whole trip. I guess I'm a hot head because I can't wear the Bose for more than an hour without my ears getting hot. The earbuds are also a lot easier to handle than the headphones. I still take both of them on the plane, but I'm using the Klipsch almost exclusively.
Car- Driving down the road, I can't tell a difference between the Klipsch and the Bose. Of course, there is a LOT less white noise than on a plane... I use a Blackberry Bold 9000 and these work great with my phone except for the volume control buttons that don't work. But the sound quality is truly awesome when talking and listening on these earbuds.
I highly recommend these earbuds.

Summary: "Simply fantastic"
Consider this review a kind of public service :). I feel it's almost a sin not to write this after buying several headphones and finally discovering this holy grail of quality sound/price/practicality/comfort combination.
It helps to set some background for the story; here is a list of headphones in the same price range that I've bought in the past: Shure SE530 PTH, Audio Technica ATH-ESW9, Bose in-ear headphones, Bose around-ear headphones, Bose on-ear headphones, Bose Quiet Comfort 15, Denon ADH 1001K, Sleek Audio SA6, Jays q-jays and others.
Ok. The reason I bought so many headphone is because it was so hard to find an excellent sounding pair of headphones that is also comfortable. The SE530 sound excellent but are very fiddly. Removing and positioning them is a hassle. Denon ADH 1001 sounds excellent but the allow so much background noise in that they're useless in a noisy environment. I am a software consultant and sometimes have to work on site where the equipment and background noise just renders these useless. The q-Jays sound fine but they hurt my ears. While the noise-cancellation feature of the Bose Quiet Comfort is fantastic, the sound quality is just not "up there" and I couldn't stomach the idea of not being able to use the headphones when the battery died. Anyway, the point is that non of these other headphones measured up, until I came across the super amazing Klipsch X10i!
I have to say I was almost disappointed when I unpacked them and saw how flimsy the cables looked. I was hoping for something strong-looking like the Shure SE530's cable.
All my initial dissatisfaction about the cable was soon blown away as I plugged them in to my Nexus One, closed my eyes and listened. Wow! These are so comfortable I've (unhealthily) worn them 8 hours straight and still felt no pains. The sound is addicting and I have to sometimes hold myself together so I don't fall into a trance!
In practice, I found the wires are strong enough, especially because the headphones themselves are really tiny and light. The sound isolation is also so good that you won't miss any "noise-cancellation" feature. Plus you save yourself the pressure that often accompany the active noise cancellation headphones.
If you don't really hear much, go ahead and buy any pair of headphones, save yourself some $$ since you probably won't be able to tell the difference anyway. However, if you do *hear* and are moved by sound and its intricacies and your budget is around a few hundred dollars, go for the Klipsch X10i and you will be sending good-will my way soon :). Plug them in and go for a stroll in light wind and ahh...
